Yes, yes the title says it all! Last night Mr. Pearl proposed. Is it horrible that my initial thought was "Great! I can finally start wedding planning without feeling guilty that there isn't a ring on my finger" ?
On a serious note though, I cried, he smiled, and I obviously said yes!
So where do I begin? I kind of thought that I would know right away, because heck, I've been looking at wedding websites since the pre-engagement period. You would think that I would know the first thing that I should be doing, but instead I'm sitting on the couch with an unattractive blank expression on my face.
I do know that I'm excited to plan the details, and yet I'm also aware that you have to have the wedding frame work in place before you can put those details in place.
The question then is, what was your first step after getting engaged? Did you know exactly what to do, or were you at a complete loss, like me?
