When it came to picking my bridesmaids the choice was simple. I picked each of my ladies because I love them, but also because they will each be helpful in a different way when it comes to the wedding. (That's right girls, I'm using ALL of you)
MOH K was an easy choice because, well she’s my sister. She has a dry sense of humor and isn’t afraid to tell me that I’m being ridiculous or tell me what she really thinks about something. She also has a very unique sense of style which leads to interesting discussions involving décor and fashion, but it does help me to keep an open mind. She somehow manages to always keep me on my toes and I know that when it comes down to it I’ll always be able to count on her.
Bridesmaid S is my cousin. We are only a year apart in age so we were close growing up. Bridesmaid S has the biggest heart and is great at giving advice and letting me know that it's ok to be a bride-zilla every once in awhile.
Bridesmaid K is also my cousin and is Bridesmaid S’s sister. She is even closer to me in age, we’re only 6 weeks apart. While we are polar opposites and rarely agree, she is a great person and fun to spend time with. She keeps my grounded, and like MOH K makes me remember what is truly important.
Bridesmaid M is my close friend from high school. She has a great sense of style and is good at getting what she wants, and that’s a friend that every bride needs when it comes to dealing with vendors. She always been there for me, and seems to call me up in moments when I need her most.
My final bridesmaid, Bridesmaid SJ is also engaged and will be getting married the month after Mr. Pearl and I. YAY! Congrats lovers! Bridesmaid SJ is Mr. Pearls best friends fiancé. Interesting fact: Once Bridesmaid S and I are married to our significant others, we will share the same monogram. :P She and I have very similar personalities, and she offers me a great support system.
