I should mention that we have picked a date, nearly two years to the date that we started dating and one year to the date we were engaged. Perfect right? I have also finally found my inspiration and as the title says, it's taking over.
I'm talking about our theme, not the actual moolah that it's going to take to make my wedding daydreams reality. We can discuss that in another post.
While searching for ideas on a website I came across the most adorable favors (pictured above). They were mason jars filled with the dry ingredients for lime-aid. With a cute little tag that said "when life gives you limes, make limeade." My immediate thoughts were that Mr. Pearl and I love the color green, limeade is perfect on a summer day, and that the favors were very "me".
So after seeing them, I knew pretty much right there and then that I had a theme! LIMES! Ok, ok I know, when I first told my mom and Mr. Pearl and my best friend, they looked at me like I was a little crazy, but I'm a bride-to-be with a plan!
