What is your/your SO’s stance on pets (are you in agreeance on the kind, and how many, or does the subject make you fight ‘like cats and dogs’)?
When it comes to pets, Mr. Pearl and I see somewhat eye to eye. When we started dating and we're in a long -distance relationship, I took in a kitten that Mr. Pearl had rescued. We named him Kit, and while neither of us are cat people. he became the love of our lives!
A year after living together, we decided to get a puppy. We went back and forth on what kind of dog we wanted for several months. I either wanted a yorkie, or a german shepherd (exact opposites!) and he wanted a beagle. Sooo we got a golden retriever. (We're weird) We love him so much, and Maverick has become the second love of our lives. Surprisingly, they play together really well.
Eventually, I would like to get another dog, but Mr. Pearl isn't so sure, so we'll just have to see!
