Simply Sub-LIME: Groomsmen

When Mr. Pearl and I were putting together our wedding party it was easy for both of us. I knew that he would want every single guy in his tight knit group of high school buddies.

While I was slightly worried that his large group of groomsmen would make me look like I had no friends, I knew that there was no way for Mr. Pearl to pick and choose his buddies. I also knew that I would not pick random ladies who I'm not going to be friends with in 10 years to be in my pearly entourage.

So just how many is a large group of groomsmen you might ask... well 8... Yes 8 guys, and that's not including Mr. Pearl. And the group could have been larger, but one of Mr. Pearls friends will mostly likely be on a tour of duty during the time of the wedding.

While I love all the guys, I was a little concerned that with that many gentlemen I could easily turn into a babysitter. So far though, they've all been super responsible and have each found ways to make me laugh.

When I told the guys that they needed to buy their navy blazers by Saturday, groomsmen J responded, and I quote " so let me make sure I've got this right, we're ordering sky blue suits from the Gap that we are wearing everyday starting Saturday and up until the wedding and the bachelor party is taking place at Chubby's on hwy 29 in Wisco.... Correct me if I missed anything."

Ohhhh these boys will definitely keep me on my toes.

When it comes to having 4 bridesmaids, and 8 groomsmen, I've been wondering how to get them down the aisle. While I know that MOH and the BM will obviously walk down together, and that one groomsmen will most likely carry Bridesmaid S's bouquet, that still leaves me with 3 ladies and 6 guys.

There are two options, either send down 3 couples and the three guys single, or have each lady walk down with two guys. Orrr I could make 3 guys walk down the aisle skipping and holding hands. Funny! :p

Did you have an even number of bridesmaids and groomsmen? If not, how did you send them down the aisle?
